Good service

My husband took my car to be serviced a few weeks ago at the Tinseltown Mavis in Jacksonville, FL. He ended up sitting for over two hours for an oil change, however the staff went above and beyond to compensate for this and did not charge us anything for the service due to the long wait. Even though the wait was exceedingly long, I was very pleased with the way things were handled.

Went to Mavis in Rhinebeck NY for oil and filter change. First they used synthetic oil, i don't use synthetic oil, I was not asked what type of oil I use. I have been goin to Mavis for years. Also the mileage on the ticket is incorrect, it says 47000, should be 49600. The ticket they put in the window for next oil change is not readable. I stopped going to Rhinebeck because of a problem with a tire. I started going to Kingston NY with no problems. I will start looking for a new place to have my vehicles services, Than you

Mavis is professional and prompt. I feel comfortable with their service. They are kind and always provide excellent service for my car.

$25 is a bit much to patch a tire. Especially if it's one of Mavis' tires. I was second one in the door when it opened at 8:05 a.m. Patching the tire took an hour and 15 minutes.

Placed order for tires on wed. Got an email saying call to set up appointment for tire install and alignment. Called store only to be told the guy I spoke to on wed. did not order the tires. Reordered. Got a call saying tires were in and made another appointment for 9:00 am sun. Arrived at 8:45 and waited outside with growing # of other customers. After talking to tech and doing a walk around of my car he tells me there’s a 3 hr. wait. I said I had a 9:00 am appointment and he said it didn’t matter. So I said I’ll be going back to Discount where they have always honored their appointment times. I’ll just have to take my car a few extra miles down the road for the alignment but it’s better than dealing with Mavis’s awful service.
